Gathering presents Kyara Hourigan.Kyara Hourigan is a proud Bundjalung, Mununjali, Kamilaroi and Mandandanji woman whose passion for weaving has been passed down through generations, learning the practice from her mother. Working with raffia and traditional Lomandra grass, Kyara creates beautifully crafted baskets, jewellery, and contemporary artworks that celebrate culture, creativity, and connection.Join Kyara for a free, hands-on weaving workshop and discover the art of traditional weaving in a welcoming and engaging setting.
