About this event

As the moon waxes full, visitors took a pleasant stroll in the garden. With "A Delightful Journey through the Lantern Garden" as its theme, and drawing inspiration from showcasing Hong Kong's distinct flavour, the Mid-Autumn Lantern Carnival promotes Chinese culture and facilitates the integration of culture and tourism. The highlight lanterns include food-themed lanterns and lantern in the shape of blooming flowers, which exemplify authentic Hong Kong’s culinary culture and symbolise a wish for a prosperous Hong Kong respectively. The carnival also presents "Heartfelt Wishes to the Moon under the Glow of Lanterns", a large-scale lantern installation displaying lanterns created by students and persons with disabilities, alongside various activities such as a Mid-Autumn Creative Market, fire dragon dance, traditional handicraft demonstrations, self-service lantern riddles and more to bring everyone a joyful Mid-Autumn Festival.
