Please join Dr. Sanja Rikette Stinson for a beginner-friendly class showing how to use AI tools like ChatGPT for writing, organizing, creativity, business ideas and everyday tasks.Dr. Sanja Rickette Stinson is an AI strategist, consultant, educator, author, and retired nonprofit CEO dedicated to making artificial intelligence accessible and responsible for nonprofits, small businesses, faith-based organizations, and community learners. She is the creator of the TACT Framework (Train, Ask, Collaborate, Take Human Responsibility) and the PACE Framework, practical tools designed to help organizations adopt AI with confidence and accountability. Dr. Stinson is the author of AI as Your Grant Collaborator (2026) and a sought-after speaker on AI literacy and AI readiness. Recently, she presented AI training at Fundable Chicago in collaboration with the Mayor's Office of Faith Engagement, reaching more than 250 participants. She holds degrees from DePaul University, McCormick Theological Seminary, Concordia University, and Northern Theological Seminary. Wednesday, September 16 | 2:00–4:00 PM Ask Better, Get Better: How to Talk to AI The quality of an AI response often begins with the quality of the request. This interactive class introduces simple prompting techniques that help participants receive clearer, more useful answers. Saturday, October 3 | 10:00 AM–12:00 Noon AI for Everyday Life: Write, Plan, and Get Organized Learn how AI can make common tasks faster and less stressful. Participants will practice using AI to draft letters and emails, create lists, plan meals and events, organize schedules, summarize information, and develop new ideas. Saturday, October 24 | 11:00 AM–1:00 PM AI Images Made Easy: Turn Your Ideas into Pictures Explore how simple words can be transformed into original AI-generated images. Participants will learn how to describe an image, improve it with follow-up instructions, and create visuals for hobbies, family projects, presentations, community events, and social media. Saturday, November 7 | 11:00 AM–1:00 PM Search Smarter with AI: Find, Understand, and Check Information AI can make research easier—but it does not always get everything right. Participants will learn how to use AI to explore a topic, explain unfamiliar information, compare ideas, and summarize lengthy material. Saturday, November 21 | 10:00 AM–12:00 Noon AI for Work and Small Business: Save Time and Create More Discover practical ways to use AI in the workplace, in a small business, or while searching for employment. Participants will practice drafting professional emails, improving résumés, developing business ideas, creating promotional content, and preparing for interviews. Saturday, December 5 | 11:00 AM–1:00 PM Stay Safe with AI: Privacy, Scams, and Responsible Use Learn how to use AI with greater confidence and care. This class covers personal privacy, inaccurate information, AI-generated scams, deepfakes, bias, and the importance of reviewing AI-created content before using or sharing it. Saturday, December 19 | 11:00 AM–1:00 PM Build Your Personal AI Toolkit: Practice, Create, and Keep Learning Bring together the skills introduced throughout the series in this hands-on learning lab. Participants will choose a practical project—such as writing a letter, planning an event, researching a topic, developing an idea, or creating an image—and complete it with AI. Participants are encouraged to bring a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
