Organizing & Preserving Your Photo Collection With Jennifer Orr

Jennifer Orr is a professional photo organizer who draws on her background in photography to help people turn boxes of photos into an organized, meaningful collection. In this program, Jennifer shares simple, practical steps for preserving a lifetime of memories, family stories, and your legacy of images for generations to come. Attendees are invited to simply come prepared to learn how to curate and organize your photo collection at home.This presentation walks patrons through practical, tried-and-true steps for bringing order to a lifetime of photos and slides that may be jumbled in boxes, scattered in photo albums, or stuffed in drawers. Jennifer walks attendees through how to sort and organize physical photos/slides and store them properly. She also discusses the value of digitizing collections, with an overview on photo scanning equipment and ideas for sharing digital photos with printed photo albums, video slideshows, and photo frames.
