About this event
Learn stop-motion animation with Lila Engelhardt, a Chicago-based educator and animation artist in this two-day workshop for tweens! Each day, you'll learn the ins and out of stop-motion to make your very own video. At the end, join your fellow classmates for a celebration of everyone's hard work. For ages 10-12. Lila Engelhardt is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and curator based in Chicago. She Graduated from DePaul University in 2023 with a BFA in Playwriting and a minor in Animation. She hosted, Lila's Animation Hour, a curated viewing of films, at the DePaul Art Museum in March of 2026, she hopes to continue to create spaces for animators to share their work on a big screen. She is eager to share her love for Stop Motion animation to any one who will listen. How to AttendRegister Chicago Public Library cannot collect personal information online from kids 0 to 13.
