City of Forest Day – Forest Walk & Birding

Come explore the urban forest of Randall’s Island Park through a guided nature walk. We will identify and age trees, watch birds, and learn about the relationships between the two. Binoculars will be available to borrow. This event is a part of City of Forest Day which is an annual day of activities across the city to raise awareness of the importance of the New York City urban forest.
