What is a Dementia Friend? A Dementia Friend is someone who... has a better understanding of dementiawill know how to engage with and support people living with dementia in their communities and workplacesand has committed to taking a practical action to help people with dementia, contributing to a dementia-friendly community.This session will provide you with tools to make an immediate impact in our community and help make the world a more friendly, safe, and healthy place for people with dementia. Participants will receive a Dementia Friend certificate.This session is part of an effort to designate Little Village-Pilsen a Dementia Friendly community.
