Interested in learning more about native birds? Join us on a walk! Volunteers from the Chicago Bird Alliance will lead patrons on bird watching walks at the South Shore Nature Sanctuary. Binoculars and guides will be provided for patron use! The walks are open to all ages, families and newcomers are warmly welcomed. How To AttendThe Nature Sanctuary is located within the South Shore Cultural Center Park. Metered parking is available onsite.This event takes place outdoors. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing as we will go on the walk even in the case of light rain. In the case of inclement weather, we will meet inside the South Shore Branch (2505 E. 73rd St) for discussion and hands-on activities about birding instead.
