About this event
Join the Urban Park Rangers for a meet-up with our Mounted Unit and their horses! Meet a real horse officer at the Horse of Course program and discover the vital role of horses in city parks enforcement. Learn about how the NYC Parks Mounted Unit cares for the horses, where they live, what they eat, and how the Rangers and Mounted Rangers work together to keep the parks safe. The visit will be followed by horse related crafts in the nature center.
