About this event
Astronomers usually study the universe using light, but gravitational waves let us explore the cosmos in a completely different way. We’ll look at what gravitational waves are, how they are detected, and what they reveal about black holes, neutron stars, and some of the most powerful collisions in the universe. This program is presented by Shanika Galaudage, Astrophysicist, Adler Planetarium / Northwestern University.
