Birds of the City: Obama Presidential Center Branch - Birding Tour

Join the Windy City Bird Lab and the Chicago Public Library for a bird walk around the Obama Presidential Center and Jackson Park! Fall migration is underway and this is a perfect time to discover the birds that pass through this part of Chicago. Learn how to identify them by sight and sound. We'll explore the landscape and surrounding park, looking at how birds use urban green spaces as places to rest, feed, and migrate. Whether you're new to birding or already know warblers, this walk is an opportunity to slow down, look around, and get to know the birds living alongside us in Chicago. Binoculars will be available to borrow during the walk. This event will take place rain or shine. Accessibility Need sign language interpretation or other accessibility assistance for this event?
