About this event
Join us for some afternoon STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) fun! Kids will build a tiny LED flashlight and learn how simple circuits work. We’ll talk about why astronauts need light in space, then test their creations in a dark “space zone.” Each child takes home their own working flashlight. For kids 6 and up and their families. How to AttendRegister by the start of the event. Chicago Public Library cannot collect personal information online from kids 0 to 13. A parent or guardian’s email address must be used to register. As a reminder, school email addresses may block external emails such as those from CPL. Due to space limitations, please include the total number of children and adults as attendees when you register.
