2 braiding courses: Braiding Basics and Braiding your own hair Two braiding courses will be held at Asukastalo Lava on 25 September 2026(address: Biologinkatu 5, 00790 Helsinki)Braiding Basics from 5:30 pm to 7:15 pm andBraiding Your Own Hair from 7:30 pm to 9:15 pmBRAIDING BASICS COURSEOn this course, you will learn techniques such as French braids, Dutch braids, fishtail braids and rope braids. We will also learn how to hide a hair elastic and what it means to pancake a braid to make it look fuller.The course is suitable for beginners and no previous experience is required. Dads are warmly encouraged to join too! All you need to bring is your own hairbrush and a model whose hair you can practise braiding. You can also come with a friend and take turns being the model and doing the braiding!BRAIDING YOUR OWN HAIR COURSEOn this course, you will receive hands-on guidance on how to position and use your hands when braiding your own hair. We will practise easy braids that even beginners can learn to do on themselves. Once you have mastered the basics, it will be easier to move on to more challenging braided hairstyles. When it comes to braiding, practice really does make perfect!Please bring a freestanding mirror that can be placed on a table, as well as your own hairbrush or comb.
