Aatist brings creatives from the Aalto University community beyond campus and into the heart of Helsinki by turning a restaurant into a one-day creative market!Restaurant Katana Ramen will be transformed into a creative pop-up market featuring original works by around 24 emerging artists, designers, and makers.Come explore and shop ceramics, illustrations, jewellery, prints, handmade crafts, and more. Find a unique gift, something special for your home, or simply discover what Aalto's creative community has to offer.Meet also creatives from different artistic and design fields, hear the stories behind their work, and learn about their creative processes.There will also be workshops, small interactive games, and live experimental music performances.Whether you want to shop, join a workshop, meet new people, discover different forms of art, or simply enjoy wandering around the market, everyone is welcome!In collaboration with Katana Ramen, Aatist is bringing new life to a restaurant on a day it would normally be closed.Aatist aims to make better use of existing urban spaces, support emerging creatives, and bring people from different communities together through art and design.
