About this event
AI companies are racing to build systems that can improve themselves, even though they admit that they have zero confidence in being able to control them.Join us for a friendly, beginner conversation facilitated by a member of the AI Safety Awareness Project on the current state of AI and where we might be headed. We’ll watch a video featuring journalist Ezra Klein as he explains the recent HuggingFace incident, and how this might be a warning shot that the public should pay attention to and then we will discuss our opinions. At the end of this program, you’ll come away with a better understanding of AI and develop your own ideas about this transformational technology.AccessibilityNeed sign language interpretation or other accessibility assistance for this event?
